Three Grade I winners, including Slip Away, winner of last November’s $100,000 Carolina First Colonial Cup in Camden, were selected as finalists for the 2010 Eclipse Awards. Slip Away was joined by $250,000 Grand National champion Percussionist and Arcadius, winner of the $100,000 Helen Haskell Sampson Stakes. The winners in all 17 horse and human categories will be announced at the 40th annual Eclipse Awards dinner ceremony on Monday evening, January 17, at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach in Miami Beach, Fla.
