For three innings, Camden’s offense was unable to do anything with South Aiken starter Sam Swygert. That all changed the second time through the order as the Bulldogs scored four runs on five hits in the bottom of the fourth and made that hold up in a 4-3 win over the Thoroughbreds in Monday’s opening round of the Kershaw-Richland Wooden Bat Tournament at American Legion Park in Camden. The victory snapped a four-game skid for Camden which improved to 5-10 on the season.
