Campbell, Phillips see tourney run come to an end in semifinals

They grew up playing golf together in Burlington, N.C., and now 30-year-old Matt Crenshaw, a car salesman and 28-year-old Blair Bowland, a restaurant manager, are the 2012 Carolinas Golf Association’s 61st annual Four-Ball Championship. The five-day event was played for the 56th time at the Camden Country Club.Their 2 & 1 victory over Paul Tucker and Brent Roof is their first CGA win. Matt played professional golf from 2005 to 2009 and regained his amateur status in 2011.
