Gray plays his way to Kornegay Junior Championship at CCC

Tyler Gray holds the Grainger Kornegay Memorial Junior Golf Championship trophy after having won the event played earlier this month at the Camden Country Club. The Lugoff resident and Thomas Sumter Academy student is flanked by Grainger Kornegay Jr. (left) and CCC head professional Matt McCarley. A trio of Camden golfers won the other three divisions with Nicholas Butler taking the 12-13-year-old title while Wills Kelly and Jack Joseph were the 9-11-year-old and 8-and under champions, respectively. Thomas Burke was awarded the David Parrott Memorial Sportsmanship Award.
