Dr. Larry Parrott of Camden has played in more than his share of golf tournaments throughout the Carolinas in his years on the links. But he never experienced anything like what he was a part of last month.Playing in his 20th Davidson College Alumni Golf Tournament at Birkdale Golf Club in Huntersville, N.C., Parrott was part of a foursome which shot a 25 (scratch score) over the par 36 front nine.Playing in a foursome that included partners Graeme Keith and Macon Moye of Charlotte and John Sneedas of Davidson, the quartet recorded seven birdies and a pair of eagles on the first nine holes. Their highest score they had on any hole on the front nine in the Captain’s Choice event was a three.
