"Hacksaw" headlines Saturday's Camden Mania wrestling card

WWE Hall of Fame member and Kershaw County resident “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan will headline a wrestling show in Camden which is being sponsored by the Camden Police Officers Association.“Camden Mania” will be held on Saturday, April 27, inside the E. Clarkson Rhame City Arena. Bell time for the first bout on the card is set for 8 p.m. General admission tickets are $5 each with floor seats being sold for $8 and $15 for ringside seats.In addition to Duggan, TNA superstar Gunner will take to the ring as will Sixx, “The American Nightmare.” There will be a women’s match with D’Arcy Dixon taking on Alexis Parrish while Wicked will go up against Nick Fury in a “loser wears a dress” match.A portion of the proceeds from the show will go toward the wrestling programs at Kershaw County schools.In one particular instance, in trying to defray the cost of purchasing championship rings for its wrestlers having won the Carolina Invitational, Lugoff-Elgin Middle School is selling 500 general admission tickets for Camden Mania for $5 each with a portion of the proceeds from the sale of those tickets going toward the ring fund.
