ALDRECIO WELLS AND L-E will welcome Cheraw to the West Wateree for a scrimmage next Friday morning.
While the 2015-16 athletic year has not kicked off, all three Kershaw County high school athletic programs should find out their landing spots for 2016 through 2018 over the next 72 hours. The South Carolina High School League was expected to release its preliminary realignment to the schools as early as Thursday or, as late as Monday, Aug. 3, according to Tammie Newman, public relations director with the SCHSL. Beginning with the 2016-17 school year, South Carolina will -- for the first time -- be grouped into five divisions. The change will affect schools from all four current state classifications.
