LARGE GROUPS OF FANS sitting or, in this case, standing shoulder-to-shoulder and not wearing a face covering at fall sporting events in Kershaw County will not be allowed this season due to COVID-19.
Taking their cue from the South Carolina Department of Commerce which deemed high schools in the Palmetto State could have up to 50 percent capacity at venues, Kershaw County’s three public school athletic directors, along with officials from the KC School District have come up with a plan for attendance and providing a safe environment at home athletic events this fall.
