With half its qualifiers winning Upper State or Lower State titles, Kershaw County will send 14 wrestlers into this weekend’s South Carolina High School League state championships in Anderson. Lugoff-Elgin returned from last weekend’s 4A Lower State qualifier with three champions and five state qualifiers overall. Camden did not have to leave home to send a titlist and two other qualifiers from the AAA Upper State meet while North Central leads the pack, county-wise, with six qualifiers from the AA-A Upper State event with three of those winning crowns.
