Thanks to the Christmas and New Year’s holiday, there is a light schedule of athletic contests involving Kershaw County high school teams on the docket for this week. The Camden boys’ basketball team will be in action beginning this afternoon as they take part in the eight-team Farm Bureau Insurance Classic at Chesterfield High School. The Bulldogs (1-4) are coming off a second-place finish in last week’s Mid-Carolina Credit Union Holiday Classic in Camden and will take on Forest Hills High School, out of Marshville, N.C., in today’s 4:30 p.m. first round game.
