KC teams to play in pre-season events

BLAKE SERPAS AND L-E will host River Bluff next Thursday in the Carolina Ale House Classic. The Demons are one of several Kershaw County athletic teams which will get a jump on the regular season by playing in pre-season tournaments over the next eight days.
With the start of the regular season right around the corner, several Kershaw County spring sports teams will get a jump on their campaigns by playing in pre-season tournaments beginning this weekend in baseball, boys’ soccer and girls’ soccer.The regular season for all county teams will begin on Monday, March 3. A complete schedule for all teams will be included in that day’s C-I.Here is a look at the pre-season events involving county squads: Pee Dee Invitational Pre-Season Baseball Tournament: Camden returns to Jimmy White Park at Kelleytown Stadium for this annual event which will also include four teams playing at West Florence High School. The Bulldogs will play all their games at Kelleytown Stadium.
