KC wrestling teams earn state rankings

All three Kershaw County public school wrestling programs were placed in the top 15 of their respective classes in scmat.com’s preseason poll. Lugoff-Elgin, led by third-year head coach Ted Monroe and which travels to Camden next Tuesday in the opening match for both teams, is sixth in class 4A. Eastside tops the rankings. Camden, led by first-year head coach Chris Connell, occupies with 14th position in a class 3A poll which is headed by West-Oak.
