By getting a quality start from Grayson King, Kershaw County Post 17 received the perfect ending to a perfect week. King, a rising junior at North Central, allowed one hit in six innings of work as KC avenged an earlier loss to Hartsville by thumping visiting Post 53, 13-1, in a game stopped after six and a half innings by the 10-run rule. The victory completed a 4-0 week for Curtis Johnson’s troops, who improved to 10-2 overall while carrying a five-game win streak into tonight’s game at Manning Santee (6-6).
