Playing keep away with the Region 3-A boys’ track championship trophy, North Central kept the hardware in Boonetown as the Knights won the conference title for the second time in as many years by winning Tuesday’s championship meet which they hosted.The Knights had big-time performances all around on the day with their 4 x100- and 4 x 400-meter relay teams both taking first place on their home track. Individually, NC seniors Tavarus Porter and Ealey Seegars led the charge with Porter taking first place in both the 110-meter hurdles and the long jump. Seegars captured won both the 400-meter hurdles and the triple jump.
