Kohn gets his first MLB win
Delk closes strong for Great Falls
Mike Kohn
Camden's Mike Kohn at Friday's win over the Tampa Bay Rays.
Camden’s Michael Kohn won the first game of his Major League career last Friday as the Los Angeles Angles of Anaheim downed the Tampa Bay Rays, 4-3. Kohn, a former Camden High, Post 17 American Legion and College of Charleston standout, worked one inning and fanned one batter as the Angels knocked the host Rays out of first place in the American League East race with the loss. The 6-foot, 200-pound rookie reliever has appeared in 20 games since his late July call-up for Mike Sciosia’s troops.
