L-E, Blizzard add to Camden's offensive troubles

Even though they looked at the same two games from two different perspectives, Craig Marlow and Lynn Looney were of the same opinion in saying that their two softball teams need to get into a rhythm as they seek to keep their respective region championship hopes alive. Marlow, who directs the Lugoff-Elgin fortunes, said that even though his team took both ends of Wednesday’s doubleheader with rival Camden, winning the suspended game, 3-1, before taking the nightcap, 8-0, his squad must find the groove which saw the Lady Demons get within a few outs of a berth in last year’s 4A Upper State championship tournament. Across the field, Looney was scratching her head as she tried to figure out how to get her team’s offense out of its doldrums.
