Lady Bulldogs 4 x 400 team runs to AAA championship

Heading into Saturday’s AAA state track and field meet at Spring Valley High School as the top seed, the Camden High girls’ 4 x 400-meter relay team left the track at Harry Parone Stadium as they entered it … as the best quartet in the state. Running a final time of 4:10.15, the Lady Bulldog quartet of Staci Sumpter, Carleigh Vaughn, Imani Wyatt and Deniah Arthur saved their best day on the track for their final race of the season as they set a new school record in the event in the process. Hanahan was second at a time of 4:11.34.
