Not even having had a few extra days off from Hurricane Florence derailed the Camden High girls’ tennis team as the Lady Bulldogs improved to 4-0 after the first go-through in Region 4-AAA play by knocking off Keenan and Fairfield Central Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. In a Wednesday match which was rescheduled from a rained-out pairing two weeks earlier, the Lady Bulldogs romped to a 5-1 victory which gave first-year head coach Pamela Smoak’s squad an 8-2 overall record. In the win over the Lady Griffins, Imani Wyatt won, 6-0, 6-2, at first singles before Anne Margaret Hutto came away a winner in a pair of 7-5 decisions at second singles.
