As has been her team’s M.O. since taking over the reins to the Camden’s girls basketball team, Natalie Jeffcoat has put the “run” into the Runnin’ Lady Dogs.Friday night, Camden caught rival Lugoff-Elgin in neutral as the visiting Lady Dogs ran past the Lady Demons, 63-36, in a game played inside the Demons den.In winning for the second time in as many starts this season, Camden turned a 25-19 lead into a 45-28 contest heading into the final stanza. The key to success, said both Jeffcoat and L-E head coach Von Duncan, was the guests’ relentless pressure defense and speed.“That was the game plan,” Jeffcoat said of her team’s man-to-man pressing defense. “I wasn’t pleased with our defense in the first half; I thought we did an awful lot of reaching.
