It was business as usual for the Lugoff-Elgin volleyball team which opened action in Region 4-5A play with a convincing 3-0 sweep over Irmo in a Tuesday night contest played inside the Demons Den.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Katie Ham’s squad which improved to 4-4 in dual match play.

On Tuesday, the Lady Demons won the opening set, 25-4,  before cruising to 25-5 and 25-15 wins in sets two and three to complete the sweep.
