A three-win week was just what the doctor ordered for the Lugoff-Elgin softball team which ended that string with an 11-1 victory over Camden, spoiling Saturday’s Dogfest at Marcus Warren Memorial Field. For the host Lady Bulldogs, the setback came two nights after they run-ruled Columbia for their first Region 4-AAA victory. The Saturday morning contest with their cross-river rival, said CHS head coach Lynn Looney, was a game on which her team could build.
