KAL DAVIS BELTED a ninth inning triple and scored KCs final run of the night in Wednesdays loss at Orangeburg in League IV play.
Having faced each team in League IV play, at least, once, Kershaw County American Legion head coach Craig Smith figures it is time to release the puppies from their pen and let them fend for themselves.“I don’t consider this team young, anymore,” Smith said following Post 17’s 5-2 loss to host Orangeburg on Wednesday night. “Mentally, it appears as if we’re starting to mature.”It was the physical part of the game which sent the visitors to their fifth loss in as many starts heading into Thursday’s game at league-leading West Columbia. Against Orangeburg, KC committed three errors which led to four unearned Post 4 runs.
