Bengals chew up Demons, 52-14

BLYTHEWOOD -- Lugoff-Elgin had no answer on defense for a potent Blythewood offensive attack. Playing in the same stadium in consecutive weeks, the Demons put on a similar lackluster performance against the upstart Bengals as L-E fell to 1-8 on the season and 1-2 in Region 4-4A play with a 52-14 loss. A star may have emerged on this night as well as Bengals’ sophomore quarterback David Israel threw six touchdown passes using pinpoint accuracy and showing the poise of a four-year starter and looking like a chiseled veteran out there at home.
