Celebrating the return of first singles player Trevor Black to the fold from an injury, the Lugoff-Elgin tennis team breezed to a 6-0 victory over visiting Ridge View in a Region 4-4A match played last week. Black led the Demons as he made quick time of Jenzen Ballesil, winning in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0. That would be the theme for the match for Edward Rickwood’s squad as Sawyer Reeves swept past Marc Bumanlaug by identical 6-0 scores in second singles before Levi Benggio handed Roy Balacanao a 6-3, 6-4 loss in third singles.
