With a victory to kick off the 2017 football season, Lugoff-Elgin head football coach/athletic director Matt Campbell is looking to extend the streak to two in a row to kick off 2017. Campbell and the Demons must wait until Friday night’s contest at River Bluff to try and go 2-0 on the gridiron. Before that, however, the third-year L-E boss will head to the South Carolina High School League (SCHSL) office in Columbia Wednesday morning to appeal the SCHSL’s recent realignment proposal to the organization’s executive committee.
