When you are the new kid picking a fight with the neighborhood bully, you had better be packing a wallop or else, you suffer the consequences. In the case of Berkeley and Dreher, who had the unenviable tasks of trying to knock off host Lugoff-Elgin in Saturday’s opening rounds of the 4A Upper State wrestling tournament, the job was akin to lesserweights having to take on the mean kid from one street over with one hand tied behind their respective backs. In the case of Berkeley, the fourth-place finisher from Region 8 forfeited half of the 14 weight classes.
