Lugoff-Elgin boys’ basketball coach Garrett Knight knows exactly what the late Marquette University head coach and, later, television analyst meant. Knight’s young Demons held 20-point leads over Buford on three occasions in the second half of Monday’s Mid-Carolina Credit Union Basketball Tournament at North Central; the last time, at 69-49, coming with a little more than seven minutes to play in the contest.
