Kelsey Griham’s sacrifice fly brought home the game-winning run as the Lugoff-Elgin softball team edged Indian Land, 3-2, in Thursday’s second round of the Lancaster County Classic. The RBI fly ball gave first-year Lady Demon head coach Craig Marlow his first victory at the helm while also giving starting pitcher Jessica Koumas her first win of the season. Savannah Corder paced the L-E (1-1) offense by driving in her team’s first two runs of the game on a night in which she had a pair of hits in three plate appearances.
