Jordan set for new challenge after signing with Newberry

Freshmen student-athletes can be a peculiar breed especially when they have made a name for themselves on the high school level. Once they step foot on college campus, some expect things to remain the status quo and that when they join their new team, even as the new kid on the block, they will be afforded special privileges. For the most part, however, first-year players starting at a new school with a new team filled with older teammates understand their role in that first season.
