L-E gets back in win column after de-clawing Panthers
JOSH RUIZ HELPED Lugoff-Elgin get off to a good start as the junior tailback scored the game's first touchdown with a 15-yard first quarter run against Carolina Forest at L-E Stadium.
After four miserable weeks, the streak is over. It was the first time the Demons tasted victory since a 27-13 win over Spring Valley. These turned out to be two completely different wins however as L-E played not only their opponent on the field but themselves, as well, fighting turnovers and a few mistakes, a theme which has plagued the hosts from the start of the season.
