As a coach, you want your team to be consistent, if nothing else. For that reason, among others, you will not hear too much complaining out of Lugoff-Elgin Middle School head football coach Randy Stokes. Last Thursday, the Leopards improved to 2-0 on the young season with a 32-8 win over Mid-Carolina. That came after Stokes and company opened their season with a 32-6 thumping of Lee Central. On Wednesday at Lugoff-Elgin Stadium, the Leopards will host rival Stover Middle School for middle school football bragging rights in the West Wateree region of Kershaw County.
