BLYTHEWOOD -- If Lugoff-Elgin was not going to win the Region 4-4A softball title, at least they wanted to go down swinging. That was the philosophy which James Marlow’s charges took last Thursday as the Lady Demons went above and beyond the call in taking some 200 swings each in preparation for the following evening’s conference clash with Blythewood.
