Turning Saturday’s Leopard Duals into the Lugoff-Elgin Middle School showcase, the L-EMS wrestling team won its own tournament by running the table against the five teams they faced. The victories gave head coach Ted Monroe’s troops a 6-0 record on the season while running the Leopards’ dual match win streak to 37 in a row. That ties the longest win streak in the history of the program. The last time L-EMS lost a match was in 2011-12, in a six-point loss to Dutch Fork on a night in which the Leopards were minus two starters.
