LEXINGTON -- More than half the high school football teams in the state of South Carolina had one big enemy playing against them on Thursday night. Teams braving the elements was the theme across the midlands as a good portion of clubs decided to play on Thursday to avoid the impending heavier rain and wind that was to come. That night in Lexington, Lugoff-Elgin faced two enemies; those being the weather, and unfortunately, itself as the host Wildcats (5-1) used a strong rushing attack and stymied the visiting Demons (1-5), winning 41-6.
