If nothing else, it should have been an interesting wrestling practice at Lugoff-Elgin on Thursday. Suffering from what first-year Demon head coach Ted Monroe termed as a “hangover” from last weekend’s third-place finish at the Southern Slam tournament, L-E split a pair of Wednesday matches in Irmo. The Demons were upended by Chapin, 47-27, before edging the host Yellow Jackets in their second match of the evening, 42-36.
