Makeover helps both Branham, Demons

After having watched Zack Branham in his first few varsity mound appearances, Lugoff-Elgin head baseball coach Randy Stokes and his pitching coach, Jeremy Ray, decided to do some tinkering. The end result was Branham’s pitching five innings of scoreless ball in helping the Demons to a 7-0 win over Westwood on Tuesday night in Blythewood. The victory gave Randy Stokes’ troops a 5-5 overall record and their first win in three Region 4-4A outings.
