SoCon singles out Wofford center Singleton

Wofford College starting center and Lugoff-Elgin graduate Jared Singleton has been named to the Coaches and Media All-Southern Conference second team football squad.The 6-foot-2, 309-pound Singleton, a junior, has started all 12 games at center for the Terriers, which shared the 2012 Southern Conference championship with Georgia Southern and Appalachian State. He leads the team this season with 186 knockdown blocks for an offense which is averaging better than 406 yards in offense per game with 357 of those come, on average, per game.
