Like sands through the hour glass so are Lugoff-Elgin’s chances of earning a post-season playoff berth, not to mention picking up that elusive first win of the season.The Demons have three games left to accomplish either and/or both of those objectives, but the path will hardly be a smooth one beginning with tonight’s visit from once-beaten Blythewood and its head coach Reggie Kennedy.Kennedy and L-E head coach Scott Jones are hardly strangers. In fact, Jones has led the Demons to three wins over Kennedy-coached teams when the second-year Bengals’ boss patrolled the sidelines at Fairfield Central. L-E and its fans are hoping to make it an even four tonight.“We have had some success (against Kennedy-coached teams) in the past,” Jones said, “but this is a whole different ball of wax.
