Weary Lady Demons split two matches

Rest assured that members of the Lugoff-Elgin girls soccer team slept soundly over the weekend.After having played seven matches in span of six days, the Lady Demons finally received some down time after dividing non-region contests with Rock Hill and White Knoll last week.On Wednesday, Carl Spoto’s charges defeated Rock Hill, 2-1. One night later, White Knoll left L-E Stadium with a 2-0 victory.In the win over Rock Hill, the Lady Demons trailed at the break, 1-0, before sophomore forward Whitney Osborne scored both goals to lift the hostesses to a one-goal victory. Sophomore Bobbie Schermbeck and junior Katie Kelly had assists.
