Tyler Pike is not about to tug on the reins of a Thoroughbred at the top of the home stretch. With one game left --- tonight at Dalzell-Shaw --- in the League III season, the second-year Kershaw County American Legion baseball coach knows how important momentum is to a team which has its sights set on making a return trip to the state tournament in Sumter in three weeks. Post 17 locked up second place in the five-team circuit while extending its win streak to seven games with a 14-2, seven inning romp over Dalzell-Shaw (2-9) in a Tuesday night game played at American Legion Park.
