Earlier this year, following the completion of his 13th NFL season and his first with the Washington Redskins, Camden native Vonnie Holliday took time out to talk to the Chronicle-Independent about the negotiations on a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), between the NFL Players Association and the NFL owners. The NFL owners are threatening to stage a league-wide players’ lockout should an agreement between the two sides not be reached by March 3. The 35-year-old Holliday is the Redskins’ player representative, a role which the 6-foot-5, 288-pound defensive lineman filled during his time as a member of the Miami Dolphins.
