From MIA to most needed player. For the first 16-plus minutes of the second half, Jamel Jones was nowhere to be found on the field or, along the North Central sidelines. In his absence, Andrew Jackson scored 10 unanswered points and cut a 21-7 halftime deficit to 21-17 with Avery Funderburk’s 27-yard field goal with 7:30 left to play in Wednesday’s game in Boonetown.
