Carolina Challenge trophy stays home at North Central

For the second time in three years, the North Central High volleyball team proved to be inhospitable hostesses as the Lady Knights won their own Carolina Challenge Volleyball Tournament held Saturday in Boonetown. Andy Johnson’s charges started quickly as they defeated rival Andrew Jackson in the first round of pool play, 25-14 and 25-22. Next up was a 25-22 and 25-23 sweep of AAA entry A.C. Flora.
