What Dante Blakeney was not allowed to do, his Central teammates did. Bound and determined not to let the Eagles’ best hitter beat them, the North Central coaching staff issued three intentional passes to Blakeney who was hit by a pitch on his fourth at-bat before sending an RBI double to the fence in right in a seventh. The final at-bat was mere window-dressing as Central improved to 6-0 in Region 4-AA with a 10-4 win over the hosts Knights on Wednesday.
