Addressing a group of young men whose heads were collectively hanging, North Central baseball coach Robbie Cash laid the cards out on the table following his team’s 5-3 loss to rival Andrew Jackson on Thursday night. Without giving a flowery speech, Cash told his Knights they had work to do but still had time left to do it as they seek to accomplish their goal of making a return to the AA state playoffs. Rather than give his players a concrete scenario as to how many games NC must win from its final quartet of Region 4-AA contests, Cash took the one game at a time approach.
