As hard as his team worked to score nine runs in the first two innings of Monday’s District 1-A elimination game with visiting Williston-Elko, North Central baseball coach Robbie Cash was not about to let the effort go down the drain. Having seen his team’s 9-0 lead shrink to 9-5 with one out in the top of the third, Cash went out to get starting pitcher Andrew Galuppi. He looked to his left to Grayson King and had one question for the sophomore ace.
