North Central outscored visiting McBee, 16-12, in overtime to record a 65-61 win over the Panthers in a Tuesday night game played at The Castle in Boonetown.Last Friday night, NC secured its first victory in downing McBee, 61-51.The Knights (2-1) used a 16-10 second quarter run to break a 13-13 first quarter tie and carry a 29-23 advantage into the locker room at halftime. The visitors outscored NC, 10-5, to trail 34-33 before the two sides were deadlocked at 49-49 after regulation.“We had some costly turnovers that really hurt us in the fourth quarter,” said NC head coach Andy Johnson. “I thought that we regrouped and make some key free throws in final minute of the game.”The Knights placed four players in double figures with Omar Johnson leading the way with 14 points followed by 13 from Banyon Sullivan.
