Those things which went North Central’s way during what was a three-game win streak did an about-face for the Knights on Friday night.Looking to string together four wins for the first time in six seasons, North Central saw its winning ways come to an unceremonious end in a 42-6 loss to rival Andrew Jackson in a game played in Kershaw.The one-sided win gave the host Volunteers their third win in their last trio of outings. The Knights fell to 3-2 overall in what was their final non-league game of the season. NC begins Region 3-AA action on Friday when Keenan comes to Boonetown.As for trying to snap a four-year hex against the Vols, Louis Clyburn’s troops saw their die cast in the first half as the hosts used big plays, on both sides of the football, to jump to a 21-0 halftime lead.“The final score was, actually, a little closer than that,” Clyburn said of the final 36-point spread.
