Record-setting Lady Bulldog relay team wins Upper State title

Led by the Lady Bulldogs’ AAA Upper State champion 4 x 400-meter relay team, the Camden High School track and field program qualified four individuals into six events in the AAA state championships to be held at Spring Valley High School on Saturday. In last Saturday’s AAA Upper State qualifier at Broome High School, the Camden quartet of Deniah Arthur, Staci Sumpter, Carleigh Vaughn and Imani Wyatt not only won the 4 x 400-meter relay but, they did so in a school-record time of 4:13. Three members of the Lady Bulldogs’ relay team also qualified to compete in multiple individual track events.
