The South Carolina High School League has extended the 2015 football season in light of the recent flooding throughout the state. The ruling allows the state football playoffs to be moved back one week in order that teams facing a backlog of makeup games can play those contests without placing an undue pressure on the players and coaching staffs. The move means classes A, 2A and 3A will begin post-season play on Friday, Nov. 13 with the 4A playoffs beginning Nov. 20.
